Michalis Papapetru, leader of the United Democrats Party (EDI), paid a visit to Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) and participated in a conference held by the Cyprus Policy Center. Papapetru invited both communities to establish stronger links and Dialogue.

CPC was founded at Eastern Mediterranean University in November 2004. The mission of CPC is to contribute to the solution of domestic and international problems and promote regional and global peace through encouraging participatory democracy, and advancing the think tank concept.
